Harper New Construction - already in Escrow - 4 days on market

Wow, is there pent up demand or what? These two new construction tall and skinny SFRs lasted all of 4 days before they went into escrow. We previewed both homes and liked them, a lot.

The builder did a great variation on the usual tall and skinny configuaration by adding a generous size loft and roof deck above the living room. The kitchen was very open with top of the line cabinets and appliances. Fireplaces in the living room and master, REAL hardwood floors, gorgeous over sized windows in the living room and an extra large downstairs bedroom in addition to the standard BR (with a Jack and Jill bathroom).

Considering that these are in the Jefferson School district and literally on the Redondo-Hermosa border, they were exceptionally priced at $899,000 each. We need more new construction in North Redondo. C'mon builders, crank it up! This proves as we have always believed that the way to make money is often by going against the grain. A number of local builders totally retreated from the market during the recent downturn. For those that stayed in the game, we believe they will be rewarded. And, buyers who are able to act quickly can still find bargains.
