A flurry of interesting new listings hit the market in Redondo Beach this past week. Fill in my usual comment regarding inventory which remains chronically low, particularly in North Redondo Beach which is still experiencing tremendous demand and more Buyers than Sellers.

If you are still processing the recent pricing of new construction 3 on a lot North Redondo Beach Townhomes, you are not alone! Because there are so few R3 lots available to build on, expect to pay about the same as you would for a resale 2 on a lot in many instances. Also expect the edgier contemporary look many builders are opting for which so people like but not everyone. I'm not seeing many beach plantation or coastal elevations in this segment.
Sitting just to east of 2 similar 3 on a lots marketed last year by the same builder are Units A-C at 2520 Nelson Ave in North Redondo Beach. As usual, the rear C Unit has an exclusive use backyard and is pried the highest.

So here's where things get interesting. You can buy a fully detached South Redondo Beach townhome, sometimes with an ocean view, for just a but more than a new 3 on a lot and even less than a North Redondo Beach detached two on a lot.
