South Redondo Beach New Construction

A nice flow of new listing hit the MLS this week including some of the new construction projects we've seen in the works for the last few months.

Before we take a look at some of the properties a few market conditions all buyers and sellers should be aware of.

First, inventory is extremely low with North Redondo being at the leanest I can ever remember seeing. As of this post only 24 active listings with a few of those in the negotiation phase and may be gone before you read this. South Redondo is in a little better condition, but only comparatively. Both are extreme seller's market.

The other factor that will start to bear more heavily on the market is that interest rates, now firmly in the 4's, are likely to continue to see a slow but steady climb higher.

At some point, the low inventory, record high prices, increasing interest rates and changes in the tax laws will impact the market. When, how and in what manner remains to be seen.
