Just Sold: 1627 Carlson Ln
I just represented the buyers of 1627 Carlson Ln in the Redondo Beach Golden Hills. if you are not familiar with the highly desirable neighborhood it is the westernmost are of North Redondo Beach found south of Artesia Blvd on both sides of Aviation Blvd and adjacent to Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach.
There are two main attractions to the Golden Hills. First is that from many of the homes you can walk or bike down to the beach. In fact, in the Golden Triangle area of the Golden Hills, many of the homes are further west than are homes in Manhattan Beach. And for the most part they sell for a lot less even though prices start at around $1M and go higher. Much higher in some instances.
The second draw to this neighborhood is Jefferson Elementary which serves most but not all the homes. (There are also home in MLS Area 152 that are in the borders of Jefferson.)
Most of the homes in the Golden Hills are what we call “Tall & Skinny”. You’ve seen them, you might think they look like Townhomes but they are SFRs and some people liken them to properties in San Francisco.
Most of these properties have a “reverse floor plan” with the living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom upstairs and then 2 bedrooms downstairs. There are direct access two car garages.
1627 Carlson was recently remodeled with 9 inch wide plank European Oak floors, high end wool carpeting in the bedrooms, chic ceramic and porcelain tiles in the bathroom that are tied into the stunning fireplace design.
The beautiful kitchen was updated with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a KitchenAid French door refrigerator and double door range, super quiet Bosch 800 series dish washer, LED lights throughout, Grohe shower and more.
The contractor that did the work definitely captured the designer inspired look and feel that is selling so well these days.
As is so often the case these days, there were multiple offers for this 3 bedroom 2 bath 1947 Sq Ft house on a 2500 Sq Ft lot. Final selling price was $1,290,500.
Take a look at the pics and you’ll see why.
